Let Us Be Heard People's Vote March
Noon - Saturday 19 October - London
Rich House - 7 Oct 2019
Please join us in London on Saturday October 19th at what looks like being the largest People's Vote March. Close to a million of us went to the last march in the spring. Let's make this one more!

Romsey Better in Europe Rendez-Vous
Romsey Better in Europe will rendez-vous between 11:30am and 11:50am at the Canada Memorial in Green Park. We will then merge into the march as it gets going along Picadilly. There are public toilets in the park near Picadilly.
First time marcher? Or seasoned pro?
Congratulations on choosing one of the biggest and most important in our recent history!
More seriously though, wear comfortable shoes that you know you can walk in for some hours. Wear layers, so that you can de-layer and re-layer as our wonderful weather dictates - the forecast at the moment is 14-15°C, gentle breeze, dry with some sunshine - perfect!
Make sure you have drinks with you, and refreshments too - though you will be in London with lots of cafes and shops, they will be rammed! Believe me! And if you see a loo, use it! The next one might have a mega-queue - there are toilets in Hyde Park close the start point of the march. Make sure you phone is fully charged, and if you have a power bank or back up, make sure you bring it. And make sure you have your friends phone numbers/WhatsApp/messenger/whatever so that you can try to stay in contact with them in case you get split up. If you're travelling solo, find someone to buddy up with and look out for each. And if you have anything to make some noise with, a whistle, a drum, whatever - bring it!
And finally all the marches have been really joyful, peaceful affairs and there is no reason to expect this will be any different, though given what is happening in the House of Commons on Saturday, there might well be a small contingent of leavers gathered there too. The general advice is just don't engage, stick with your buddies, stay on the march.

If you have time a placard would be great. Often the best are quickly mad from a bit of cardboard - just add an imaginative inciteful comment. If you're looking for inpiration take a look at www.theneweuropean.co.uk/top-stories/placards-posters-from-peoples-vote-march-in-london-1-5955453
